Disinfectant Chemical for Effective Sanitization of work places to fight Corona

Survival today depends on quality of Disinfection of Work Places and Homes
A lot of inquiries are coming about which chemical should be used to sanitize work places, offices and homes.
I have discussed this issue with many chemical experts and read advisories and guidelines of Ministry of Health.
What is the Criteria for selection of chemical:
1 - Chemical should be non - corrosive.
It should not corrode metals. Our offices and workshops and homes have large number of metallic products like chairs, tables, almirahs etc. Use of corrosive chemical will damage everything.
2 - It should be safe for human beings.
It should be safe for the operator of sprayer and fogger and also safe for the occupants of the premises.
3 - It should not have bleach effect means should not discolor clothing, should not damage furniture polish.
Available Choices:
Sodium Hypochlorite 12%
It is Corrosive. It has strong bleach property. It damages metals, cloths, furniture etc very fast. It will damage the spray machines also.
So it is recommended for outdoor use only.
Cost: It has advantage of cheap price. It is available at Rs 30 to 32 per liter. It's dose is 40 to 80 ml per litre for 0.5% to 1% recommended solution for Corona. So for 100 litre, requirement will be 4 to 8 litre means approx Rs 125 to 250.
Hydrogen Peroxide 50%
This chemical is being used by some people. It is also a good disinfectant chemical, which is non-corrosive and no - bleach. So it can be very well used for both indoor and outdoor as it will not discolour things and corrode metal. It is reasonably safe for human beings if used in moderation.
However for killing virus a higher concentration of 10 to 2O ml of our 50% strong Hydrogen Peroxide will be required. It may affect human body.
Cost wise it will be same as hypochlorite as its dose is much less.
Note: Hydrogen Peroxide is sold in raw form with 50% concentration.
Cost: Almost same as sodium hypochlorite due to low dose requirement.
Quaternary Ammonium Compound QUAT - Benzalkomine Chloride - BKC
Use of this chemical has been recommended by Ministry of Health. It is non- corrosive, no bleach and safe for human beings. It is also recommended for fogging.
It is the best chemical used globaly for sanitization of indoors, cars, buses, offices,  workshops, factories, schools etc.
Satonil QUAT is most recommended chemical.
Cost: It costs about Rs 250 per Litre. As per recommended dose, 2 to 3 litres will be required in 100 litre water. So it will cost Rs 500 to 750 per 100 Itre of spray.
Looking into its non corrosive, no bleach and Safe to human beings properties, it is highly recommended for indoors. Also it is a food grade chemical widely used in food industry for sanitization.
However, sodium hypochlorite, though cheap, but looking into the damages that it causes to property and health,  it is advisable to use it outdoors only with utmost caution.
Final Recommendation :
Quaternery Ammonium Compound
Benzalkomine Chloride
SATONIL QUAT is best BKC sanitizer available in the market at most reasonable prices.

How to apply:
1 - Mopping by cloth
2 - Outdoor sanitization by battery sprayer, cold mist fogger or high pressure jet sprayer.
3- Indoor sanitization by our cold mist fogger as any other sprayer will wet all surfaces, damaging products, paper etc and after spray mopping will be required to dry wet surfaces.
Cold Mist Fogger sprays mist of 10 to 150 micron size and does not wet surfaces. So it reduces the cost.
